How it works

Conversant LSS integrates Conversant LMS, CDN, and OSS to deliver a comprehensive linear streaming solution. The LMS ingests source streams, which undergo transcoding, packaging, and stream preparation. The processed streams are distributed via Conversant CDN for reliable and fast delivery to various client devices, while OSS handles secure and efficient storage.

Channel Management oversees stream configuration, scheduling, and orchestration. GTM ensures optimal routing for seamless content delivery. Real-time monitoring, alerts, and analytics are integrated to support operational needs and maintain service quality.

Click Dashboard/Channels and select Create Channel.
Enter the Channel Name.
Click Create Input:
- Enter App Name and Stream Name.
- Select the Input Protocol and confirm by clicking Create Input.
Click Create Output:
- Enter Output Name and select the Output Protocol.
Click Create Preset:
- Enter Preset Name, configure Video and Audio parameters, then click Create Preset.
Confirm Create Output.
Click Create Delivery.
- Enter the Delivery Domain and click Create Delivery.
Confirm Create Channel.
Go to Channels > Channel Viewing.
Copy the Input Address and add it to the encoder’s configuration for the channel.
Copy the Delivery URL and add it to the CMS playback address for the channel.
Start streaming from the encoder.

The channel is now streaming and accessible by the application.

Go to Dashboard/Channels and click Create Channel.
Enter the Channel Name.
Click Create Input:
- Enter App Name and Stream Name.
- Select RTMP under Input Protocol.
- Enable Ingest HA (High Availability).
- Click Create Input.
Click Create Output:
- Enter Output Name and select the Output Protocol.
Click Create Preset:
- Enter Preset Name, configure Video and Audio parameters, then click Create Preset.
Confirm Create Output.
Click Create Delivery:
- Enter the Delivery Domain and click Create Delivery.
Confirm Create Channel.
Go to Channels > Channel Viewing.
Copy the two Input Addresses and add them to the encoder configuration for each stream in the channel.
Copy the Delivery URL and add it to the CMS playback address for the corresponding channel.
Start streaming from the encoder.

The channel is now streaming with multiple stream inputs and is accessible by the application.
