Conversant Low-Latency Streaming (LLS) minimises latency through an optimised architecture designed for real-time streaming delivery.
Streamers are connected to nearby edge nodes for ingest, which significantly reduces latency on the ingest side. The core processing layer performs highly efficient, real-time audio and video transcoding and packaging.
On the delivery side, viewer requests are served by nearby edge nodes to accelerate content distribution and reduce downlink delay, which ultimately delivers a secure, high-quality, and low-latency viewing experience at scale. Additionally, the latency of playback is further minimised through mechanisms such as GOP cache optimisation, which reduces the initial frame delay.
